I continued with the fun idea of rolling up beads. The last batch I made out of scrap clay was not only fun to do but also looked pretty good. So I took it a step further and used "new" clay and tried out some colour combinations. I rolled different colours through the pasta machine together and just kinda played around with it. It's really fun to make. After the beads were baked, the small red ones actually reminded me of pasta itself, they are very thin and even sound like hard pasta in my hand.
I put them up for sale to see if any one is interested in this sort of bead. I wonder....

These are so cool! I'm suprised I haven't seen them much because they "look" quite simple.
What kind of clay do you use for these? Your command of color is truly noteworthy!
