I'm still in my gold+black phase. I really like this combination. Having the gold be the dominant colour is very pretty aswell, it's so different from having the black the dominant colour.

At the moment I am only interested in making beads (and canes) but when I look at some of my Necklaces I fall in love with them all over again and earn to make more, ofcoarse, from the beads I have made. Sometimes I feel so impatient and wish everything would move on faster, that the beads were already made or the canes already fitted together *smile*. It takes time and so working with fimo has something yogic in it for me, making me slow down, sit still and ponder.

And here are the beads from the same swirl canes that I used on the mini jar. I kinda think they might have looked better if I kept them natural without any varnish/glaze but oh well, I can make more. I'm now looking for some really happy kid-loved design for a necklace for my niece, it's her birthday in two weeks. Maybe I'll use this...don't know yet.
I tried to use some more happy spring colours yesterday and decided on using swirls. I decorated a small jam jar with it. I like it.

I tried to make a rose cane out of black+white. I was hoping for more gray and less black actually but it's really hard making skinner blends withOUT a pasta-machine. I can't wait to get one....I found a really cheap one on ebay and am now waiting for the bidding to end *smile*. That would be a great help and I'd probably have much better (and faster) results! It is a neat design though and it will be interesting making beads with this cane.

I love the combination of black and gold. I'm really looking forward to using these beads and making a Necklace out of them. Am working and some more though in the meantime.

Opening Act

My first entry! I have finally decided to open up a blog for my beads, necklaces and what-not that I make from Fimo and glass beads. It's a great new hobby of mine but feel like I'm still in my baby shoes and have yet to still learn a great deal. Best way to learn though: through trial and error.
